I always choose this place for my stay. At my first visit, the staff helped with directions I needed. It suits me perfectly, has free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and a restaurant. I keep coming back for my city trips. No regrets.

we had an amazing summer holiday in effingham and decided to stay at this lovely pub. it was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with modern decor. the staff were friendly and the pub was dog-friendly. we loved exploring the nearby walks in surrey hills, including a long but doable walk from box hill to polesden lacy via denbies. overall, our stay at queen stage exceeded our expectations!
limited street parking was a bit of a nuisance, especially in the rain.

We recently stayed at Queen Stage in Surrey Hills and had a wonderful experience. the pub and staff were absolutely lovely, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were happy to find that the place was dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners like us. the pub was clean and comfortable, with a modern and stylish decor that added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. the well-stocked bar and friendly atmosphere added to the positive experience. the location was also fantastic, with easy access to great walks and strolls in the picturesque Surrey Hills. We particularly enjoyed the walk from Box Hill via Denbies and Polesden Lacy, which, although lengthy, was definitely worth it!
Honestly, we cannot find any faults with Queen Stage. 🐶.

We had a lovely stay at a modern and stylish hotel. The decor was of high quality and the cleanliness was top-notch. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Surrey Hills and going on scenic walks. We really appreciated the fact that the hotel was dog-friendly, making our trip even more enjoyable.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the lack of street parking during rainy weather and the limited amenities in the room, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.
